Mountaire Farms hosts Thanksgiving for Thousands

Mountaire Farms, the nation’s fourth largest poultry production company, will be hosting its third annual Thanksgiving for Thousands event on Saturday, November 18, at South River Baptist Church in Statesville NC. The event will start at 8 AM.

This event brings together employees, growers, and community volunteers to pack and distribute 4,000 meal boxes to the community. Each meal box includes a Mountaire Farms roaster chicken, sides, and a box of dessert mix. In total, Mountaire Farms will be able to feed 16,000 people a holiday meal.

Mountaire Farms partners with nonprofits and organizations across Iredell County and in the surrounding counties to distribute these meal boxes to those in need. To request meal boxes, please visit the Mountaire Farms “Meals for Thousands” webpage.

To volunteer for this event, complete the online volunteer sign up form. Volunteers are needed to pack boxes and load them into vehicles.
