United Way Endowment for the Future Grant Recipients Announced for 2023
Iredell County, NC – The United Way of Iredell County is excited to announce the recipients of the 2023 Endowment for the Future Grants. The Endowment for the Future Committee received 29 applications this year.
Hope of Mooresville: Provides solutions for women and children experiencing housing inadequacy through a holistic hands-on case management program that provides support and guidance addressing the underlying causes of homelessness. This grant will support the expansion of services through the opening of a new home.
Iredell County Partnership for Young Children: Supports the early education system by providing scholarships to cover the cost of required health and safety training at no cost to Early Childhood educators.
The Christian Mission: Launch a workforce development program that provides direct teaching, mentoring, and hands-on experience through community collaboration and comprehensive training.
The $87,500 in grant funding awarded by the United Way of Iredell County Endowment for the Future is one part of the $1,221,708.00 in local grants and services provided to support the health, education, and financial stability of Iredell County residents through the United Way of Iredell County. This support is made possible through the generosity of members across our community.
