Safe Kids Iredell County

The Statesville Fire Department is excited to partner once again with Safe Kids Iredell County for the 5th Annual Winter Weather Drive. This important initiative provides essential cold-weather items to children in need throughout our community, helping them stay warm and safe this winter.

We invite you to support this drive by donating new items such as socks, gloves, hats, and other winter essentials. 

As in past years, City Hall is proud to serve as a collection point, making it convenient for you to contribute.

Donation Details:

• Collection Dates: Friday, November 1st through Sunday, December 15th
• Drop-off Location: Statesville City Hall (get directions here)
• City Hall Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Did You Know?: Statesville City Council

Statesville's City Council is made up of the mayor, six (6) ward seats, and two (2) at-large seats.  Meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers of the City Hall building located at 227 S. Center Street.  The agenda is released on the Wednesday before the scheduled meeting by the City Clerk.  On the second meeting of each month, thirty minutes are set aside for the public to address Council about any issue.

🔹Police Officer (Full-Time) - This position performs intermediate protective service work involving a variety of general or support duty police assignments; does related work as required.  Work is performed under the supervision of Patrol Corporals and Sergeants.

🔹Warehouse Technician (Full-Time) - This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of the warehouse by maintaining stock, reconciliation of inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
