A. Consider approving the August 1, 2024 Pre-Agenda and August 5,2024 City Council meeting minutes. (E. Kurfees)

B. Consider approving the second reading of an ordinance to amend the City of Statesville Charter to change the terms of the at-large City Council Members and move the election date from October 2025 to November 2025. (E. Kurfees)

C. Consider approving the updated Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization Memorandum of Understanding. (E. Kurfees)

D. Consider approving the City of Statesville Electric Department to proceed with a temporary sublease agreement with Clockworks QOZB, LLC to store excess Electric inventory items. (Leis)

E. Consider passing the second reading of the rezoning request ZC24-12 Scott Stewart for properties located at 2131, 2151, and 2155 Amity Hill Road, Statesville, NC; Iredell County Tax Parcel #’s 4743-14-6912 and 4743-15-4268; from City of Statesville HI (Heavy Industrial) to R-20 (Suburban Residential). F. Consider appointing one alternate member to the Board of Adjustment to replace a current vacancy. (Bateson)

G. Consider adoption of a resolution to affix the terms, conditions, and rate for the interfund loan from the Electric Fund to the General Fund. (Carr)

XVI. Consider approving the resurfacing contract from Maymead Inc. in the amount of $1,199,167.45 for the annual street improvement program. (Bridges)

IX. Receive the bi-annual Statesville Police Department Crime Report. (Onley)

X. Conduct a public hearing and first reading of rezoning request ZC24-16, filed by Willard Auton, for his property located behind 849 Reynolds Road, Statesville, NC; Iredell County Tax Parcel # 4724-53-7566; from City of Statesville R-20 (Suburban Residential) to B-5 (General Business) District. XI. ZC24-01 Nabors on Third public hearing will be opened and then continued to September 16^th. Speakers for the public hearing will be asked to sign up before the meeting on September 16^th.

XII. Consider approving a resolution directing the City Clerk to investigate a petition of annexation for AX24-08 Nabors on Third properties located at Shiloh, Wayside, and Nabors Road; Receive City Clerk’s Certificate of Sufficiency; and Consider passing a resolution fixing a date of September 16, 2024, for a public hearing for the petition for annexation. Consider approving the second reading of annexation request AX24-09 Briarwood Acres for properties located at PIN #’s 4724-37-3635, 4724-37-4391, 4724-17-7325, 4714-96-8747, 4724-04-0148, 4714-94-9622, 4714-94-8823, and 4714-95-0673; Filed by Alex Bonda on behalf of Prestige Corporate Development, LLC, for properties located along Interstate 40, between Gilbert Road and Westminster Drive. XIV. Consider reviewing the proposed Powell Bill projects and future resurfacing projects and provide guidance for future completion of those and other projects. (Harrell)
